Upon entering the library under a large curvilinear canopy matching the cast-in-place concrete walls, the patron has many choices. A bookstore, information-charge desks, art gallery wall, numerous reading and staff areas, conference, community and computer rooms all radiate from the entrance area. Abundant natural light floods the reading area through the vaulted ceiling and large clerestory windows. The adjacent book stack areas have low ceilings and high efficiency lighting directly between the stacks. The library is a favorite for patrons of all ages.
