This science building sits on a campus severely impacted by a surrounding high-density neighborhood. Circumstances necessitated surface parking under two floors of science labs and preparation areas. Each floor has eight labs, all with access to the prep area. A two-floor greenhouse vertically links the two prep spaces and serves as a backdrop to a conference room and staff lounge-patio.
